Sensory Officer Selangor - Shah Alam |
Responsibilities:
- Use knowledge and expertise to develop the sensory activity in stores.
- Liase with the stores and ensure the whole sensory activities/ process meet the safe and legal requirements.
- Apply the sensory testing process to new product development and existing product improvement.
- Manage third party on sensory testing program.
- Administration work of NPD and existing testing sample preparation and data analysis.
- Monitoring testing result, follow up on corrective action and reporting regularly.
- Coach and train the part time staffs to meet corporate brand sensory testing standards and requirement.
- Build up data base/ profile of sensory panelists
Requirements:
- Possess a Diploma / Degree with major in food science or equivalent education background, preferably minor in statistic analysis.
- Food industry / non food industry / third party experience with at least 1 year on sensory evaluation or relevant, preferably a multi -national company or significant player in the national market / institute.
- Independent, effective planning and organizing skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
- Good in reading Chinese is a plus.
- Those with formal training in HACCP, GMP, Food & Safety and supplier auditing is a plus.
